Meredith Pellecchia Fucile

Artistic Director/Owner

Received a B.A. in Dance with a dual minor in Business and Psychology from Dean College where she graduated with highest honors. In her early years she trained with Kathy Kozul at Mary Flynn Murphy Dance Studio. During her four years at Dean, Meredith’s focus was on Pedagogy, Composition, The Vaganova Method and Horton Technique. She has studied and worked with masters such as Jill Silverman, Nailah Randall-Bellinger, Wyatt Jackson, Lisa Pari, Josh Hilberman, Bob Thomas, Denise Jefferson, Jay T. Jenkins, Pilobolous and the well-known NYC Rockettes. She has performed with Dean Dance Company and Dean College Dance Team. Her philosophy is teaching proper technique to her students. This allows her students to increase their strength and develop as dancers without injury to the body. Miss Meredith has taught dance at several dance studios in the Boston area. She has received many high scores and special awards for her excellence in dance and choreography. Meredith is happy to share her passion for the art of Dance, and looks forward to sharing her passion with her future students. This is Meredith's twenty first year of teaching. Miss Meredith is very excited to start her own dance family here at Dance Xhilaration and is delighted that her dream has come true! Miss Meredith teaches Ballet, Pre-pointe, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Musical Theater and Acro at Dance Xhilaration. With a variety of offerings to choose from, we're sure you'll be happy with us here at Dance Xhilaration!

Meg Arrington

Ballet

Meg Arrington developed her passion for teaching dance when she was assisting dance classes at her local dance studio where she grew up dancing. She continued her dance education and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance as well as an Associate of Science degree in Business from Dean College. Meg is trained in styles of ballet, tap, jazz, hiphop, modern, contemporary, lyrical and Irish Step.  
Meg is a member of the National Dance Educators Organization. She enjoys continuing her education and wants to be the very best dance teacher she can be. In Meg's classes she encourages having fun, expressing oneself creatively and staying healthy through physical activity. She loves to see how much her students can grow and improve throughout the year. Meg prides herself on the safe space that she creates in all her studios, which allows her students to reach their full potential as dancers and people.  She is very excited to join the DX family!

Kathryne Beagan

Lyrical, Jazz, Musical Theater, Tap & Tap Team

Kathryne began her dance journey at the age of three and discovered her passion for teaching early on, becoming an assistant dance teacher at age eleven.   A graduate of the Dance Teachers’ Club of Boston Dance Teacher Education program in 2009, she went on to found and serve as president of the Merrimack College Dance Club. Since officially beginning her dance teaching career in 2013, Kathryne has guided dancers of all ages, from toddlers to adults, in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and Broadway jazz. Kathryne served as the director of her childhood dance studio for nine years, training the next generation of dancers while developing her love for choreography. She is also a certified Zumba instructor, bringing energy and joy to her classes.
In addition to dancing, Kathryne is a second grade teacher, bringing a passion for teaching from the classroom to the dance floor each day! Her favorite part of teaching is witnessing her choreography come to life, fueled by the passion and dedication of her students.

Tara Hurley

Acro & Acro Team

Tara Hurley grew up in Somerville where her passion for cheer and dance started at age seven. She coached high school cheerleading from 1995-2012. Along the way, she also coached at the Youth and All Star levels.  Her teams earned countless league, regional and national titles.  After becoming Head Cheer Coach at Somerville High School, she started directing regular youth cheer clinics for the city of Somerville.  For several years, Tara ran tumbling programs at Winthrop Gymnastics Academy and for the city of Everett. Tara has held certifications with the National Federation of High School Cheerleaders, the MIAA and the MSAA for coaching instruction and safety.  She was a certified Massachusetts tournament judge for seven years.  In 2014, Tara started teaching dancers of all ages she has taught young dancers, beginner tap/jazz and acro. Tara’s competitive acro teams have been recognized for countless achievements over the years. Tara also worked in the early education and childcare field for almost twenty years before opening her portrait studio in 2014.  Tara is very excited to join the Dance Xhilaration family!

Michele has been teaching dance for more than 25 years, specializing in jazz, tap, musical theater, and creative movement for all ages. She served as Assistant Director and Instructor in Saugus, where she developed preschool programs, taught competitive teams, and choreographed award-winning routines. Michele has also taught at studios across Massachusetts and North Carolina, sharing her love of dance with students from toddlers to adults.  Her teaching philosophy is to instill a lifelong love of dance by inspiring creativity and imagination while building discipline, body placement, and strong technique. Michele strives to create classes that are both fun and challenging, encouraging each student to grow with confidence.  When she's not in the studio, Michele works in real estate valuation and enjoys life at home surrounded by her big family, two dogs, two rabbits, a turtle, and a tank of lively fish. Beyond work and dance, she loves quiet family time, travel, and planning crafting retreats.  Here at Dance Xhilaration, she is thrilled to be teaching the adult jazz and tap classes.

Whitney Pierre

Hip Hop

Whitney began dancing at the age of three and has been passionate about the art form ever since. She trained at a loccal dance studio, where she studied a wide range of styles including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. Growing up, Whitney participated in dance conventions, assisted classes, and competed on a competitive dance team, honing her technique and performance skills.

After high school, Whitney continued to pursue her love for dance by joining her college dance team, further expanding her versatility and leadership on and off the stage. She has taught dance to students of all ages in after-school programs, sharing her knowledge and inspiring the next generation of dancers.

In addition to her work as a dance educator, Whitney has a deep commitment to supporting students with autism spectrum disorder in a general education classroom. During the day, she works at an elementary school providing individualized support to these students, using her understanding of movement and teaching to create an inclusive environment for all learners.

Whitney is excited to bring her diverse experience, passion for dance, and dedication to Dance Xhilaration, where she strives to foster creativity, discipline, and confidence in every student.

Flora started off as a competitive dancer and competed up until the age of seventeen.  She has won multiple scholarships, awards, regional/national titles, and self-choreography awards.  She has worked with talented dance photographers including Jordan Matter and Shark Cookie.  In 2018 Flora was awarded an invitation and scholarship to attend the Bolshoi Ballet Summer Intensive from YAGP's Larissa Saveliev, placing 1st in contemporary and 2nd in classical.  She is trained in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, modern, hip hop, lyrical, pointe, and acrobatics.  Outside of training in the studios growing up, she was mentored and trained one on one with Alex Wong in ballet and contemporary.  She has recently expanded her dance career by teaching and choreographing at studios around the state of Massachusetts teaching ages from ages 5-18.  Her pieces have won many top scoring awards and choreography awards, one being the highest scoring routine of an entire competition.  Some exciting news is you can find her on this year's Season 17 of So You Think You Can Dance as top 12 girls and top 24 overall!!  Flora is excited to share her passion for dance and loves meeting and working with new talent!  Flora is looking forward to be a part of the Dance Xhilaration staff!
